ABOUT ME

I coach differently because  I've been where you are

I'm Stacey Marino. Before I was a coach, I was the woman who needed one.

​

From age 13, I spent over 15 years trapped in a cycle of restriction, binging, and obsessive exercise — running 7+ miles a day, scared to eat more, scared to train less. At 5'7" and 115 pounds, my body was breaking down. Chronically inflamed, exhausted, and completely unresponsive no matter what I did.

​

What changed everything wasn't a new diet or a harder program. It was CrossFit, strength training, and finally learning to fuel my body properly. I started eating enough. I started recovering. And everything shifted — I went on to become an elite CrossFit athlete and Games Semifinalist. Not by doing more. By finally working with my body instead of against it.

That experience is the foundation of everything I do as a coach. When my clients tell me they're scared to eat more, or that their body feels like it's working against them — I understand that on a level most coaches never will.
